Pursuing excellence in artistic screen printing since 1986.

“Hello, we are Christian M. Walter and Loli Rodríguez, we opened our screen printing atelier in Granada in 1986”.

Christian is from Saarland (Germany) and arrived in Granada in 1981; at that time he was a student of intaglio engraving and it was in Granada where he started to work with silk-screen printing. Loli, born in Lanjaron, worked in Culture administrative matters when she returned to Granada, after living her childhood and early youth in Holland where her parents had emigrated.

With scarce resources, they set up a workshop that has had three physical locations, a stone’s throw from the Gran Vía in Granada, in Mano de Hierro street – which would give its name to one of their small format series -, on the outskirts of La Zubia, in a building that had been an old henhouse, and in their own building in Belicena, where the Studio-Atelier was established in 1996.

So the circle was perfectly closed to start up a workshop that in these 25 years has managed to be a reference in expanding the limits of artistic screen printing.
